Description

The paper describes the organization and management practice for spent sealer radioactive sources in Poland. Information on the inventory, storage, characterisation and conditioning of radioactive sources is provided. Special techniques for conditioning of spent radium sources (Ra-226) to be appropriate for long term storage is discussed. (author)
