Physics of e+e- reactions
Description
In this lecture, Lohrmann reviews the theory of, and experimental evidence relevant to, the physics of electron-positron pairs. Among the topics covered are a review of the relationship between quarks and leptons, the annihilation of electron-positron pairs, particle jets as products of quark fragmentation, inclusive distribution of the products of electron-positron pair reactions, bound states of quarks and antiquarks, charm spectroscopy, the role of gluons in the phenomena, and the problem of two photon physics
