Description
The syntactic analysis of a natural language requires a grammar describing that language and a dictionary containing the syntactic and semantic properties of the words of the language. This report describes the implementation of compilers that transform the grammar and the dictionary from the form given them by the linguist to a form directly utilizable by the parser. For a fuller understanding of this report, the reader is referred to the publication CEA-N-1538 which contains a more general presentation of the linguistic problems. (author)
Abstract (French)
L'analyse syntaxique d'une langue naturelle ne peut se faire qu'a l'aide d'une grammaire decrivant cette langue et d'un dictionnaire contenant les mots de celle-ci avec leurs caracteristiques syntaxiques et semantiques. Ce rapport decrira la realisation pratique des compilateurs qui permettent a la grammaire et au dictionnaire de passer de la forme exterieure imposee par le linguiste en une forme directement utilisable par l'analyseur syntaxique. Pour une meilleure comprehension de ce rapport, on se referera a la note CEA-N-1538 contenant une presentation plus generale des problemes linguistiques. (auteur)Files
