Description
Recent developments of laser decontamination and laser cutting for nuclear decontamination at the Wakasa Wan Energy Research Center are presented. Successful performance with very high decontamination factor was demonstrated for the developed laser decontamination cleaner. Laser cutting technology in water that is desirable for dismantling of the nuclear facilities was also developed. (author)
