Microwave ovens survey 1992 and compliance with the microwave ovens regulations
Description
The National Radiation Laboratory conducted a representative survey of microwave ovens in 1992 and examined new and used models for compliance with the Microwave Ovens Regulations 1982. Of particular interest were levels of microwave leakage, safety interlocks, covers over ports and grills, labels, and examination certificates. Results were favourable in terms of safe performance but less than perfect in terms of labelling and documentation. 6 tabs., 9 ills
