Identification of minerals in roofing with a focus on asbestos

Description
Analyzes showed the presence of asbestos in the sample. Chrysotile fibers can also be observed macroscopically, or even at low magnification on an optical monocular. Svoboda et al ., (2018) state that roofing eternite contains about 9% asbestos and that the release of fibers due to erosion is not critical in open air. Among other things, it is difficult to point out the corrosion of the paste here, because calcite could have been added to the mixture as a filler already during the production of eternite. (authors)
