Nuclear shadowing in the constituent quark model

Description
The shadowing phenomenon is discussed within the framework of the constituent quark model incorporating the gluon recombination mechanism. The Qiu shadowing factor reflects correct behaviour for the sea quark density for very small values of χ. However, for larger χ it is necessary to take nuclear antishadowing into account. (author)
