Investigation into vibrations of helical-type steam generator for a helium cooled reactor
Description
Results of experimental investigation of helical-type steam generator are presented. Experiments were performed using the full-scale model with helium coolant and air-water cooled model. It is shown that two-phase flow of the secondary circuit represents the main source of vibrations. Parameters of helical pipe vibrations under different operating conditions of the steam generator are determind. The effect of remote control on vibrational characteristics is evaluated
