The itinerant exhibition on energy 'There are also other Ways', contains concentrated information, data, and illustrative material - more than can be registered and digested. Therefore this catalogue hall provide the possibility to everybody to re-read what has been gleaned during 1 1/2 years' work on this exhibition. With this work, the author tried to perform two different things: In the first place, a large-scale view adaptable to the popular wind of our present energy situation and of feasible future alternatives was to be given. Secondly, the information was also supposed to enter into concrete details so that those visitors of the exhibition that are particularly interested in individual partial fields are not put off with commonplaces and platitudes. Die Energie - Wanderausstellung 'Es geht auch anders' enthaelt eine geballte Ladung Informationen, Daten und Anschauungsmaterial. Mehr, als sich bei einem Rundgang aufnehmen und verarbeiten laesst. Deshalb soll dieser Katalog jedem die Moeglichkeit bieten, zu Hause nachzulesen, was in 1 1/2 Jahren Arbeit an dieser Ausstellung zusammengetragen wurde. Bei dieser Arbeit haben wir uns um zweierlei bemueht: Erstens wollten wir einen umfassenden, allgemeinverstaendlichen Ueberblick geben ueber unsere gegenwaertige Energiesituation und ueber machbare zukuenftige Alternativen. Zweitens sollten die Informationen auch so weit ins konkrete Detail gehen, dass diejenigen Ausstellungsbesucher, die an einzelnen Teilbereichen besonders interessiert sind, sich nicht mit Allgemeinplaetzen und Plattheiten abgespeist fuehlen muessen.
