The correlation strength in proton-nucleus interactions at 400 GeV
Description
Evidence for the existence of correlations in proton-nucleus interactions at 400 GeV is presented employing the equation for the rapidity difference distribution induced from the multiperipheral description of clustering. Dependence of the correlation strength on the target size, the multiplicity and the cluster size is found and discussed. The maximum cluster size is determined to be 3 particles (charged). (author)
