An attempt to extend the standard model to include invisible axions and majorons

Description
We present a modest extension of the standard model to include a Peccei-Quinn symmetry and a global lepton-number symmetry both of which are spontaneously broken at the same invisible axion scale, thus eliminating the strong CP problem and generating masses for the light neutrinos that could explain the observed depletion of the solar neutrino flux. The model has no apparent difficulties with known constraints. (orig.)
