Cocrystallization of divalent lanthanides and actinides with Sr complexes from THF solutions

Description
Cocrystallization of microgram amounts of Eu2+, Yb2+, Sm2+, Am2+, and Cf2+ with Sr complexes of formula Sr(18C6)L2 (18C6 = 18-crown-6, L = I-, BF4-, BPh4-, ClO4-) from tetrahydrofuran (THF) solutions is studied. Cocrystallization coefficient of the tracers in the BPh4- system (0.1-0.2) is ∼ 8 times less than in the I-, BF4-, and ClO4- systems. Replacing 18C6 by dibenzo-18-crown-6 does not change the cocrystallization coefficients
