Calculation of the subband structure of inversion layers in p-InSb bicrystals

Description
Self-consistent calculations of the subband structure of inversion layers adjacent to the grain boundaries of p-InSb bicrystals are reported. The calculated charge density in the inversion layer, the conduction band edge, and the subband energies are given. The very good coincidence of results with experimental values is shown and the efficiency of the theoretical assumptions and approximations used is demonstrated
