Recurrent electron fluxes with energies of 0.03-3 MeV and their spectra according to the ''Prognoz-4'' satellite data
Description
Three recurrent rises of fluxes of electrons, Esub(e)=0.03 to 3 MeV, and protons, Esub(p) >= 1 MeV, are analysed. The analysis covers the electron spectra of background fluxes in the interplanetary space, the transient region and the external magnetosphere both outside the recurrent events and in their occurrence. Possible mechanisms for the formation of recurrent fluxes are discussed and a bend in the electron differential spectrum as well. In all three events the commencement of each rise of the recurrent fluxes id preceded by a charge in the positive interplanetary magnetic field sector sign for the negative one. The presence of a shock wave at the sector boundary and the occurrence of the spectrum bend give evidence of the possibility of accelerating mechanisms for particles
