Description

The contribution of the sequential collisions to the double inner-shell vacancy production probability in the 87 MeV Ni + Pb collision systems, measured by using solid targets and the triple coincidences X-ray - X-ray - scattered projectile is discussed. A correction procedure based on the decomposition of the projectile K X-ray spectra into satellite and hyper-satellite components is proposed. (author)
