Description

Complete reliability of the computed nuclear data is dependent on the basic input parameters and this Meeting was primarily concerned with the basic input data which are broadly categorized into the following six segments: Atomic masses, shell corrections and deformations; discrete level schemes; average resonance parameters; optical model potential parameters; level density parameters; and gamma-ray strength functions. Papers on all these topics were presented at this Meeting and it was decided that the participants would transmit their data to the International Atomic Energy Agency according to a time bound programme
