Correlation functions and spectra density in the reactor noise diagnostics

Description

Numerical calculations of the correlation functions and spectral densities from the time consistencies does not cause any mathematical problem. The only principle question for obtaining valuable results is the selection of the appropriate values of the scan velocity, the number of breaks, frequency interval and transmission bands. Equations for autocorrelation and mutual correlation of two variables are regarded. The selection of parameters of reactor physics studies is discussed. 4 refs. (B.N.)
