Dosimetry of VVER-1000&440 Reactor Pressure Vessels, Internals, Supporting Elements and Surveillance Specimens as a Part of PLiM At Ukrainian NPPS [PowerPoint presentation]

  • 1. Institute for Nuclear Research of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (INR NASU), Kyiv (Ukraine)

Description

The Scheme is Based on Next Items: • SSs from one set are enough for complete examination of PV metal; • SSs from the next set must be tested before the neutron fluence substantiated through the test results of SSs from previous set will be accumulated by the reactor PV; • averaged neutron fluence accumulated by SSs after CA modernization must be very close to the one before CA modernization; • final neutron fluences accumulated by SSs from *L 2 and *L 4 CAs are supposed to be based on reconstruction of its lower halves; • modernization of one floor CAs is performed during one fuel cycle, SS tests are performed during two fuel cycles.
