Ball bearings investigation by isotopic method

Description

Method used to determination of small amounts of metals by X-ray fluorescence analysis is described. It is applied to investigate the state of ball bearings of aircraft turbines. The demages of ball bearings are discovered by determination of small amounts of iron, copper and zinc in oil samples taken from lubricating installation. (Z.M.)
