Hydrogen desorption kinetics of Pd-Ag-Cu alloy by differential scanning calorimetry

  • 1. Product Development Section, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai (India)

Description

Hydrogen desorption kinetics of single-phase ternary alloy Pd0.77Ag0.10Cu0.13 was investigated by employing Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The apparent activation energy for desorption of hydrogen from the alloy hydride was evaluated by using the Kissinger method and found to be 49.1 ± 0.5 kJ/mol. (author)
