Glueballs, Hybrids and Exotics: An Experimental and Phenomenological Overview

Description

This paper provides a short overview of our current understanding of exotic mesons. In particular glueballs and hybrids. The lightest glueball appears to be where lattice predicts it to be, but is fully mixed with two neighboring mesons. The situations with hybrids is less clear. There are hints of π1 states, but both the confirmation of these states as well as the mapping of exotic nonets awaits future experiments
