Description
PWR core dynamics in load follow (AFC) operation were analyzed with improved SPARK code paying attention on local power. Power variation were calculated caused by core inlet temperature variation or control rod movement using Point Beach No.1 plant date. Calculated result shows applicability of improved SPARK code on PWR AFC operation. Additionaly, dependance of power behaviour on core position and AFC cycle time were studied. (author)
