Computation of the cardiac output according to the data of radionuclide studies using a pocket calculator

The author describes a method of automatic computation of the cardiac output by a dilution curve of the carrier of a radioactive isotope administered into the cardiac cavity. Computation is performed with the help of a program-operated pocket calculator. Data recorded in the semiconductor external memory are fed into it. The program provides for the data transformation in the decimal code, computation according to the Steward-Hamilton formula and prinout of the results
