Description
The Ag/NiFe/Ag/NiFe multilayer have been produced by dc sputtering machine on the varied of deposition time of Ag(2) from 2 up to 10 minutes with the aim to get the highest GMR effect caused by contribution of ant ferromagnetic coupling between electron spins on the NiFe(1) layer and NiFe(2) layer. Characterization was done on morphology, magnetic properties, and microstructure and film resistance in the external magnetic field (Hext). From the result show that the multilayer with deposition time of Ag(2)=2 minute has the highest GMR ratio i.e. : 67,74% that 11.2 more higher than MR effect of NiFe single layer and has closed to Pool's estimation that GMR effect of four layers was about 75%. This layer have low of remanen magnetic and high of coercive field. While by using a buffer layer of Ag(111) the structure of alloy NiFe(111) growth above it was more corroborate
