Description

In this paper, the research on the excited state of superdeformed rotational band is reported, as it attracts strongest interest worldwide in the research on high spin nuclear structures at present. In particular as the characteristic excitation mode formed under its high speed rotation and very large deformation, octapole vibration excitation was taken up, and the difference from the octapole excitation which has been well known by spherical ordinary deformation nuclei was discussed, and its peculiar properties were elucidated. In this study, focus was set on the dynamic side of collective excitation mode like this, and as the microscopic model that explains both even nuclei and odd nuclei in unified state, the disorder phase approximation based on a rotating shall model and the theory of quasiparticle vibration combination in a uniformly rotating cordinate system were developed. By using this theory, interesting experimental data have been reported. The results of calculation of the superdeformed rotational band of 152Dy and 193Hg and their comparison with the experiment are reported, and the effect of octapole collective excitation is discussed.
