Description
The sigma receptor is a class of non-opiate receptor. It is overexpressed in a wide variety of human tumor such as malignant melanoma, neural, breast, prostate and lung cancer, while being highly restricted in most normal tissues. the studies of sigma receptor in the isoforms, functions, distribution, ligand and application in tumor nuclear medicine will be helpful in the early diagnosis and treatment of tumors.
