Description
Using the method of boiling points vapour pressure over the melts BeCl2-LiCl and BeCl3-RbCl in the range of 3.3-33.3 mol.% beryllium chloride at 864-1337 K are measured. Using literature data on e. m. f. constants of thermal dissociation of the compounds Li2BeCl4 and Rb2BeCl4 are calculated. Over the melts of Li2BeCl4 diluted with lithium chloride a considerable vapour pressure of beryllium chloride is observed and thermal stability of Li2BeCl4 is significantly lower than that of Rb2BeCl4
