Low-temperature thermal expansion of praseodymium
Description
Thermal expansion of Pr was accomplished by the method of low-temperature radiography in 4.2-300 K range in a cryostat with gas thermostatic control. It is shown that thermal expansion in paramagnetic (PR) region below 125 K is characterized by extremely anisotropic behaviour, and PR->AF (antiferromagnetism) transformation is manifested at TN=25+-0.5 K in the form of slight breaks on corresponding curves
