Study of boron segregation in molybdenum alloys by nuclear reaction method

Description
It is proposed to apply 11B(p, a)8Be and 10B(a, p)13 nuclear resonance reactions to study boron distribution in macrocrystalline samples of metals. It is shown that boron segregates to grain boundaries in molybdenum alloys. The profile of boron distribution on grain boundaries in TsM-6 type alloys has been determined
