In final storage outside containers it is envisaged that the mixer for conditioning the radio-active waste is let out with a binding material trhough a shaft to the underground storage room. The mixer is emptied there. The mixture of waste and binder only solidifies in the storage room. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Bei der behaelterfreien Endlagerung ist vorgesehen, dass der Mischer zum Konditionieren der radioaktiven Abfaelle mit einem Binder durch einen Schacht bis zum unterirdischen Hohlraum abgelassen wird. Dort erfolgt ein Entleeren des Mischers. Das Gemisch Abfall-Binder verfestigt sich erst im Hohlraum. (DG)
