Transverse waves in 3He-A
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Kosmicheskikh Issledovanij
Description
This paper deals with the investigation of viscous waves in 3He-A at zero magnetic field. It is shown, that the hydrodynamic equations have two solutions, corresponding to shear wave of superfluid normal component and to orbital viscous wave. These waves in ordinary fluids and in 4He are linearly polarized. The wave-induced viscous forces acting at the surface of parallel planes are calculated when one of them tangentialy oscillates
