Users Manual for Programme Tacor. A Fortran IV Computer Programme for the Thermal Analysis of Composite Regions

Description

A computer programme TACOR for thermal analysis of fuel elements and moderator blocks has been prepared to the Project's requirements by the Battelle Memorial Institute under Contract No. WH 500483. This report is the basic user manual for that code. In it is described the concepts of the method together with explanation of how the programme works. A worked example is also included. The method is particularly suited to transverse sections of multichannelled fuel blocks and further more detailed examples of the codes use are given in D.P. Report 795. Further information, programme listing and source deck may be obtained from the Dragon Project by arrangement.
