Description
On the basis of geochemical characteristics of uranium, the favourable environments of uranium migration and conditions for the concentration and precipitation of uranium from natural water are determined and different geochemical barriers in the formation of exogenetic uranium concentration are distinguished in this paper. On this basis, the classification of exogenetic uranium concentration has been made. According to the classification based on the kinds of geochemical barriers for exgeneous water, not only the present economic deposits are classified, but also the deposits expected to be discovered are speculated. The classification can be used as a new tool for predicting new genetic types of uranium deposits
