Description
A mucocele of the spheno-ethmoidal sinus is described with symtoms of diplopia gradually leading to seriously impaired vision. This lesion was seen as a high signal intensity structure with all MRI pulse sequences due to deposits of methaemoglobulin consecutive to spontaneous bleedings inside the mucocele. These MRI findings have not been reported previously in the literature. (Author). 10 refs.; 1 fig
