Sodium boiling in fast reactors: a state-of-the art review
Description
Because of the importance regarding severe hypothetical accidents in liquid metal fast breeder reactors, sodium boiling has been studied in depth, including conditions of natural convection. This paper summarizes the work accomplished and delineates the need for future work in areas of loss of flow, local cooling disturbances, and decay heat removal. 46 references
