Investigation into phase diagram of the system LiVO3-LiNbO3

Description
Using the methods of differential thermal, visual polythermal, X-ray phase and micro-X-ray spectral analyses investigated is the LiVOsup(-)LiNbO3 system and its phase diagram is built. The system is referred to eutectic type with ideal solubility of the components of the system in melt (tsub(eut.) = 570+-5 deg C), the eutectics composition corresponds to approximately 6-7 mol. % LiNbO3. Melting heat of lithium niobate is calculated being 13.2 kcal/mole. Conditions of growing of monocrystal films of lithium niobate using the method of liquid phase epitaxy are determined
