Constraints on heavy meson form factors

Description
In the limit of infinitely heavy quark masses, we derive upper and lower bounds for the Isgur-Wise form factor in the physical region relevant to anti B→Dlνl and anti B→D*lνl decays. The bounds obtained cast serious doubts on the reliability of the determination of vertical strokeVcbvertical stroke made from model fits to the present existing data. (orig.)
