New ECR sources at GANIL

Description
An original principle of magnetic structure allowed conceiving an ECR low-charged ion source which delivers a beam of perfect cylindrical symmetry. This principle will permit developing during 1999 an optimized single-charged source to cope to further developments of the spiral project, as well as realizing a multi-charged ion source. Besides these three sources, a slight transformation of the ECR4 source allowed improving significantly its performances and stability
