The defective structure and ferroelectric properties of ZnO single crystals
Description
The domain structure in ZnO single crystals was studied. It was observed that the spontaneous polarization of ZnO was associated with the arrangement of excess zinc atoms in octahedral vacancies. The results were interpreted assuming the obtained new compound in the corresponding Zn3O2, and the occurring domains would be associated with these. (author)
