Research related to the discharge of radionuclides in coastal waters
Creators
Description
Research relating to the discharge of radionuclides from Sellafield into coastal waters, particularly to the N.E. Irish Sea, is reported. A long term programme of research into the incorporation of radionuclides into the sea-bed, the geochemistry of interstitial waters and sediment studies aims to promote an assessment of future likely radiation hazards from discharges into coastal waters.
