Migration of In atoms on a stepped Cu(100) surface, studied with LEIS
Description
A new method is described which allows atom site locations at coverages as low as 10-2 ML. The method was applied to determine the surface sites of indium atoms evaporated on a stepped Cu(100) surface. Low-energy ion scattering measurements were performed after evaporation and after certain annealing steps. (author)
