Design of booster ring for HiSOR-II and study of injection with pulsed sextupole magnet

Description

We are designing the new compact low emittance SR source 'HiSOR-II' with booster ring. This booster ring is designed for top-up injection, and the circumference of ring is about 30 m to install inside of the storage ring. We estimated the time to be necessary for injection to 300 mA. Further we examined the injection using pulsed sextupole magnet and studied the specific parameters of the injection by simple simulation. (author)
