Description
The dissociation energies of D2+ and H2+ are computed by a variation perturbation method for all bound 1sσg and 2pσu states and for J ≤ 8 and J <='' 5, respectively, and for the highest (υ = 21 and 22) levels of HD+. The metastable states located between the two dissociation limits of HD+ are investigated with the aid of the lifetime matrix formalism. Four such states are found, one for each J ≤ 3. A comparison of the present results with those obtained by other methods is briefly discussed. (author)
