Description

Highlights: • New mixed-cation iron (III)-zinc(II) diphosphate. • Isostructure with Fe2+Fe3+2(P2O7)2. • New phosphate has Néel temperature about 5.5 K. • Mössbauer data confirms the presence of the Fe3+ in octahedral sites. • Paramagnetic behavior at room temperature of new diphosphate.
