Renormalization of QED in superdense media
Description
The renormalization of QED in a superdense background is examined by expanding the electron distribution function for a chemical potential larger than the temperature. It has been noted that the behavior of an electron in such a medium is different from that of a positron. Further it also reproduces the corresponding results of the classical limit, i.e., for the background where all the particles are present in their ground state
