Correlation of radiative widths and spectroscopic factors in the sup(62,64)Ni(p, γ) and sup(62, 64)Ni(sup(3)He, d)

Description

To investigate correlations of reduced radiation widths and spectroscope factors measured were intensities of direct gamma transitions to low-laying sup(63, 65)Cu levels occupied in the sup(62, 64)Ni(pγsub(i)) reaction. The measurements were carried out at an electrostatic accelerator with 0.90 and 1.08 μm thick targets for 62Ni and 64Ni correspondingly. Gamma spectra measured reveal intensive gamma transitions to all the low-laying sup(63, 65)Cu levels. Tabulated are intensities of I/Esub(γ)sup(3) gamma lines corresponding to transitions to separate levels and their spectroscopic factors (2If+1)C2S obtained in studying the (3He, d) reaction in another work. Correlation coefficients rhosub(f) between reduced partial radiation widths and spectroscopic factors of finite states of sup(63, 65)Cu have been determined assuming that the states lsub(p)=1 are occupied by the E-1 transitions only. The coefficients rhsub(f) equal 0.61+-0.21 and 0.51+-0.22 for 63Cu and 65Cu, accordingly. Marked correlation, rhosub(f)=0.6+-0.3 is observed also for transitions to the states lsub(p)=3 what can be related to the strengthening of direct one-particle state capture of d protons with high spins or to the excitation of the 2p-1h states which mechanism was suggested earlier for explaining some peculiarities of neutron capture
