Computation of NO2 thermoradiolysis by the Gear method

Description
The kinetics of NO2 thermoradiolysis is calculated by means of the updated method of Gear, that is included in the KINETIC code to similate the chemical kinetics processes. It is shown that specific features of the thermoradiolysis kinetics in the high dose region are determined by the quasi-equilibrium pattern of the reversible thermoradiation reaction 2NO2↔2NO + O2. The increase in the dose rate from 5x1020 to 5x1022 eV/(cm3·s) results in the increase in the radiation-chemical yield of active particles by nearly a factor of two at P=1MPa
