Investigation into the structure of 40KhNMA steel joints made by resistance electroslag welding
Description
The structure of 40KhNMA steel contact slag welds after thermal treatment has been studied. The strength of tested samples does not depend on the time of their staying in the crystallizer, on accelerated cooling, etc., and always is lower than that of non-welded samples. Hardening and high temper increase the strength of welded samples
