Beam profile monitor system based on infrared thermography

Description

The beam profile monitor system based on infrared thermography provides a direct visual representation of the relative particle density distribution over the total cross section of a particle beam. Advantages of this monitor system, such as monitoring of the total beam cross section, fast scanning (video frequency), no vacuum feedthrough and applicable to high beam power result in an easy beam handling.
