1994 annual report IMP and NLHIAL
Description
In 1994, HIRFL was operated for 3200 hours and 19 experiments were carried out at the accelerator. 50 MeV/U 18O8+, 50 MeV/U 14N7+ and 100 MeV/U 16O8+ were tuned at HIRFL; CAPRICE ECR ion source was further improved and a new ECR ion source, ECR2 was completed, used; The control systems were improved to increase the stability of the equipment and the operation efficiency of HIRFL; Radioactive Ion Beam Line of PF type at HIRFL was developed. The operation, maintenance and development of 200 kV heavy ion implanter and the 2 MV tandem accelerator were reported. The applications of beam provided by HIRFL, of nuclear techniques, of heavy ion irradiation as well as theoretical studies, data acquisition system, nuclear electronics, experimental instrumentation and techniques were also reported in the annual report
